Ajloun is home for the only pure Islamic castle in the country, it stands at the highest point in the north of Jordan, built at 4 different stages in the 12th century, the castle offers excellent views for the Jordan valley and Sheikh mountain of Lebanon as well as the surrounding forests, the water system and architecture of the castle is beyond amazing
